The 2nd NESTLER Advisory Board & Stakeholders’ Meeting

The 2nd NESTLER Advisory Board and Stakeholders’ Meeting was conducted online on February 26, 2026. Project coordinator Prof. Theodore Zahariadis opened the event by outlining the roadmap for digitizing the agro-food sector, followed by Dr. Fekede Feyissa from the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research, who discussed the importance of cross-continental livestock and nutrition partnerships.

The meeting’s core featured a presentation of results from the NESTLER Pilots. These updates from AGRI, CTPH, RAB, IITA, EIAR, and ICIPE showcased how data-driven interventions are improving livestock management and environmental resilience. The session concluded with a strategic feedback period from the Advisory Board and an open Q&A, ensuring the project remains aligned with global sustainability goals.
